HOME SWEET HOME

Cote D'Azur - Block 70 - 13-27 - 3 bedroom - unfurnished

1300 square feet. It also has a balcony, but a smaller one (just in front of the living room and not quite as deep).

Living/dining area is rectangular, making it more open than L-shaped layout.

Unit is in pretty good condition. Rather clean and doesn't seem to need too much work.

It's a nice unit - nicely shaped and in good condition. It's my second favorite of those I saw.

Cote D'Azur - Block 66 Unit 07-13

Here's the one that looks out onto the greenery. check the kitchen size to see if you like it.

Cote D'Azur - Block 68 Unit 19-20

High floor at the front of the U (closest to the coast). From this unit you can actually see a lot of the water rather than just a slice. This is because it is high and it's closer to the coast. That means it's also closer to the highway, but it didn't really bother me--partly because I'm used to it, and partly because they all get some noise, and also partly because it is past the waterfall and thus doesn't get the waterfall noise (so in all, it might actually be quieter than the one in the middle building).
The place is in really good condition, won't need to be painted (or perhaps even cleaned). My impression is that it has been open for a while and those things have already been done.

I like the light fixtures and sinks too (the rest of the stuff is pretty standard across units).

The kitchen is smaller than other units there that I've seen. We might be able to put the microwave elsewhere to provide more space, but it's still not a ton. The kitchen is open, but I think all have been with the exception of block 60 which we won't get. Again, I'm used to this and don't think it will be a problem. It's a high floor so we shouldn't have as much problem with geckos or bugs (but I would still expect company!).
The layout is angled, meaning the front room is kind of like two rooms. ***What do you think of this?*** Originally I didn't like it, but now I kind of do. It seems to split the space into two units, but usable units. Of course, it prevents us from having one huge rectangular space, but I'm not sure I mind. Right now this unit is at the top of the list, but he didn't counter offer my first inquiry, so don't get hopes up. We'll take it as it comes.

So, have a look and enjoy!
(Sorry you can't see the water. Tons of boats, lots of water, but the camera didn't pick up the light correctly).

4 Bedroom that has been empty for a while (it was really dusty)

The owner will probably be willing to make more concessions than those who have recently-vacated condos. I would guess it has been at least 3-5 months (Gary said "yes" when I said "so, it's been what? three...five months...").

A japanese family is breaking their lease after 3 months (to move closer to school). Not sure who or how that will be worked out or how it affects us. I would expect them to be motivated to get a new tennant.

We are offering $3.700 unfurnished

Keep
Queen sized bed and frame (maybe)
Refrigerator
8kg washing machine (Panasonic)

Maplewoods

<<>>

Save 47% of the marked price!!! (oh, it's imported from Australia...full leather!) I saw some that were a little cheaper, but not by too much. But some were super comfy...not sure what happened to the pics.

SOLD - Cote D'Azur - Block 60 - 13-02 - 3 bedroom - $4.8k

Fully furnished. I actually liked the furniture. When I asked if we could get rid of the couch and the two beds in the master bedroom he said "Maybe we could remove 1 or 2 pieces..."

The layout is nice - square (well, rectangular...) living/dining room. The beds are down a hallway but it doesn't seem long an narrow like many of the brand new places.

The unit is in excellent condition--doesn't look like it needs any work on it at all.

Comes with washer, dryer, and fridge.

The 5 units are arranged in a U shape, with the buildings looking toward the coast (and the highway, which is lined by very high trees).

This unit is in the middle of the U, meaning it faces directly at the coast and doesn't have the oddly shaped rooms (the side units can have some interesting angles).

I like this unit, but it's pretty pricey for only 3 bedroom. However, in this area it seems reasonable. They would be willing to negotiate.

------------------
OK, after rethinking this, I realize that this unit has the best furnishings that I have yet seen, but I'm not sure that I would buy the things in there myself. I like the table and chairs, and I like the wood/aluminum/frosted glass cabinets, but not sure I'd buy anything else there (or even the cabinets). But, i could live with this stuff. however, even $200 a month is $2400 a year--that could get us some stuff, but how much would depend on how nice it is....
Not sure they'll be willing to sell this unfurnished (or partially furnished--just with white goods: washer, dryer, fridge)

Gage's birthday

Hey babe, we missed you and were thinking of you. Thank you so much for the hard work you are doing for our family.

I'll add more video tomorrow. I have got to go to bed. Love you!

12 City Square

Located on the edge of Little India, not far from SMU (a few MRT stops)

Battery died before I got the whole place...but it gives an idea of the condo (just like all the other "spanking" places) and gives an idea of the furniture - pretty nice, me thinks.

Aspen Heights Facilities

Aspen Height 02-23

Situated near Novena and Dhoby Ghaut MRTs.
